Spinach chutney | palakura pachadi | palak chutney recipe

Ingredients (240 ml cup used)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves (you can adjust to suit your taste)
  • Half-cup coconut gratings (can reduce to ¼ cup)
  • ¼ sliced onion
  • Green chili as needed
  • little tamarind or few drops of lemon juice
  • 1tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • oil as needed
Tempering
  • One tsp mustard
  • One tsp cuminseeds
  • One tsp blackgram
  • A pinch of Hing (asafoetida)
How to make the recipe
  1. Sauté cumin seeds, onion and spinach leaves slightly.
  2. Grind this along with coconut gratings & green chilli. Add salt to taste. Add the tempering
  3. You may relish this vibrant chutney with idlis
